MedGo2U http://www.medgo2u.com/ (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "Us" or "Our" or "Platform") values the privacy of its end users (hereinafter referred to as "You" or "Your") and its healthcare professionals ("HCPs") and is firmly committed to protecting the personal data. You share with Us. This Privacy Policy outlines (i) the type of personal data We collect, (ii) how that personal data is used, (iii) where the personal data is processed, (iv) disclosure of Your personal data to third parties, (v) rights which are available to You, (vi) use of cookies, and (vii) the relevant legal disclaimers.


1. Information We collect from You

Cookies are small data files stored on your device when you visit our website. They are used for various functions, from keeping users logged in to helping us analyse traffic and protect against misuse.

1.1 Personality Identifiable Information

The nature of services provided by Us requires Us to know certain information in relation to Your Identity for the purpose of providing the best quality services to You. When You create an account on the Platform for accessing Our services, We may require You to voluntarily provide Us with key information that personally identifies You. In particular, We may require You to provide any or all of the following information:

  • I) Contact Information such as Your full name, email address, residential address, GPS location and phone number;
  • II) Demographic Information such as gender, age and date of birth;
  • III) If You create an account with Us using Your Google account, You will also be sharing Your Google profile picture with Us;
  • IV) If You create an account with Us using Your Facebook account, You will get an option choose the information (such as Your profile picture, Facebook Friends You wish to share with Us);
  • V) Payments made to the HCPs for availing their services through Platform; and
  • VI) any other information in relation to Your Identity which You may voluntarily choose to share with Us.

1.2 Health related Information

Our platform allows You to utilize our in-house built artificial intelligence system ("AI Services") which helps you out in choosing a healthcare professional ("HCP") which best suits your needs. AI Services can be used to select a relevant HCP by submitting the symptoms you are facing and choosing the relevant medical services you are looking for. In the event you are not sure about what kind of medical services you need, Our AI Services can efficiently help you out in choosing the HCP which shall best suit your needs depending on the symptoms and other related information you provide to the AI Services ("Health Data"). AI Services store Your Health Data for rating purposes and with the objective of providing a better HCP selection process for future bookings. However, Health Data is only retained if You place an order on our Platform (while you are logged in on our platform). We retain Your Health Data solely for improving the AI Services and enhancing future HCP recommendations. However, such data is stored only when You place an order on the Platform while logged into Your account.


2. Information We collect from HCPs

2.1 Personality Identifiable Information

We may collect any or all of the following information at the time of onboarding of HCPs and/or any time thereafter:

  • I) Contact information such as Your full name, email address, residential address, and phone number;

  • II) Demographic information such as gender, age and date of birth;

  • III) Other personal information which includes (a) the proof of Your educational qualifications such as college or university degree, (b) document evidencing Your qualification for any certificate course You may have attended, (c) documents (such as Your work visa or any other similar visa) which evidences Your right to work in the United Kingdom, (d) license number/registration number/certificate of registration which evidences Your registration with the relevant governmental authority of the United Kingdom, (e) DBS Certificate which conclusively verifies Your criminal records (if any) and describes whether You are authorized to work as HCP on the Platform, (f) First aid certificates (if applicable) which evidences Your qualification for first aid treatment, (g) Manual handling certificate (if applicable), (h) Massage Certificate (if applicable), (i) National vocational qualification certificate (if applicable), (j) work experience certificate, and (k) any other certification/document/information which may be relevant for Us;

  • IV) Payments received from the Users for providing services through Platform;

  • V) Details relating to the professional indemnity insurance which is held by the HCPs; and

  • VI) Any event which has an effect of change in the details or Status of the information as stated in foregoing paragraphs (i) to (v).

3. Purpose of processing the information

3.1 Purpose of processing the information Your Information

We collect Your information as stated above for providing Our services to You in an efficient and hassle-free manner. Information as stated from paragraph 11(i) through 11(ii)) above is collected by Us for efficiently processing Your orders You place on the Platform. Information as set out in paragraph 11(v) is collected by Us for internal financial analysis of performance of the Platform.

We collect Health Data (as defined above) for the purpose as stated in paragraph 12 above. All the said information is processed by Us for the stated purpose and is promptly deleted, surrendered or destroyed by Us upon the completion of the purpose for which it was collected.

3.2. Purpose of processing information of HCPs

We collect the information of HCPs as stated above for efficient and diligent onboarding of HCPs on the Platform. We recognize and acknowledge the importance of onboarding only skillful and qualified HCPs and in Our endeavor to ensure the same. We collect the information of HCPs as stated in paragraph 21(iii) above. Information as stated in paragraph 21(j) and 21(l) is collected for internal KYC purposes. Information as stated in paragraph 21(k) is collected for internal financial analysis in respect of performance of the Platform. Information as stated in paragraph 21(k) is collected to ensure that the HCPs meet Our internal onboarding requirements.

All the said information is processed by Us for the stated purpose and is promptly deleted, surrendered or destroyed by when the HCP concerned cease providing services on the Platform.


4. Sensitive Data not collected

Except as provided in paragraph 12 above, We do not collect or retain any personal data relating to Your health, ethnic origin, religious beliefs, political conviction or any information of like nature.


5. Protection of children

Protecting the privacy of children is of prime importance to Us. We do not intend to collect personally identifiable information from children (a child is defined as any person being under the age of 18 years) without permission of the relevant parent or legal guardian. Children should not independently submit personally identifiable information to Us without the explicit permission of their parent or legal guardian.

We will delete the personal information of children who have submitted their personal information on the Platform without the consent of the relevant parent or legal guardian within 24 (twenty-four) working hours from the date on which such unauthorized submission of personal information comes to Our notice. If Your child has submitted personal data and You would like to request that such information be removed, please contact info@medgo2u.com.


6. Sharing Your information with third parties

6.1 Sharing Your personal information with third parties

We share Your information with third parties (including HCPs) for the purpose of providing seamless experience in relation to Our services. Whenever We share Your information with third parties, We ensure that Your information is processed by such third parties in only to further the purpose as stated in this policy (including by execution of data protection agreement with such third parties whenever possible).

6.2 Sharing personal information of HCPs with third parties

We share personal information as stated above in paragraph 21 for the purposes of (i) processing payments received from users in a secure manner, (ii) verifying the authenticity of the personal information received from HCPs, (iii) facilitating insurance claims in respect of the professional indemnity insurance obtained by the relevant HCPs and (iv) complying with the applicable laws. Whenever possible, We execute data protection agreement with such third parties to ensure that such third parties process personal information of HCPs in compliance with the terms of this policy.


7. Use of cookies

7.1 A cookie is a simple text file that is stored on Your computer or mobile device by a website's server; only that server will be able to retrieve or read the contents of that cookie. Each cookie is unique to Your Web browser. It will contain some anonymous information such as a unique identifier and the site name and some digits and numbers. It allows a website to remember Your preferences - e.g. choice of HCPs.

7.2 We use cookies that are strictly necessary to enable You to efficiently navigate the Platform or to provide certain basic features. We use cookies to enhance the functionality of the Platform by storing Your preferences. We also use cookies to help Us to improve the performance of Our Platform to provide You with a better user experience.

8. Rights available to You and HCPs

8.1 Following are the rights available to You and HCPs in respect of information shared with Us:

  • I) Right to be informed about how Your information will be processed, the purpose of collecting Your information and how long the same will be retained. We have disclosed all this information in this policy.

  • II) You can require Us to provide access to the personal information stored or collected by Us and if required, You can require Us to correct/update Your information.

  • III) You have the right to require Us to erase or destroy Your information if the processing of such information is no longer necessary, or You wish to withdraw Your consent. In the event HCPs exercise this right of erasure, they shall not be alloWed to provide their services on the Platform.

  • IV) You can request Us to convert my available personal information in a tabular format and share the same with another service provider as per Your instructions

  • V) Any other right which may be available to You under the applicable laws.


9. Legal disclaimers

9.1 Information purposes

The Platform does not provide You with advice or recommendations of any kind and should not be relied on as the basis for any decision or action. You are advised to consult professional advisors in the appropriate field with respect to the applicability of any particular aspect of the contents of the Platform. If You have, or Suspect having, any adverse health symptoms after attending to a session with any of the HCPs on the Platform, You may either consult the same or any other HCP on the Platform or consult any other healthcare professional outside the Platform.

9.2 Information on Platform provided “as is”

The information on the Platform is provided 'as is' and We make no representations or warranties, expressed or implied, in relation to the services provided by Us on the Platform. We make no representations or warranties of any kind as to the completeness, accuracy, timeliness, availability and functionality of any kind of services We provide on Platform. By Using the Platform, You accept the risk that the information may be incomplete or inaccurate or may not meet Your needs or requirements.

9.3 Disclaimed liability

We shall not be liable for any damages or injury arising out of Your access to, or inability to access, the Platform or from Your reliance on any information provided herein. We disclaim any and all liability for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, and special or other damages, lost opportunities, lost profit or any other loss or damages of any kind. This limitation includes damages or any Viruses, which may affect Your computer equipment.

Platform may contain links to other Websites that are not owned or controlled by Us; please be aware that We are not responsible for or have control over the privacy policies of these Websites. This privacy statement applies only to information collected on the Platform. We strongly encourage You to read the privacy statements of every Website You visit that collects personally identifiable information.

We do not endorse Websites linking to the Platform. We are not responsible for content on these liked websites or for control over information that Users may choose to provide to these Websites.

We reserve Our right to alter, modify, substitute or delete any content of or may restrict access to or discontinue distribution of the Platform at any time and at its sole discretion.
